NOTE: Buffalo hides are all unique, different and no two are exactly alike. The bison hide hair length will also vary as some are longer & some are shorter depending on the season the hides were harvested. In addition, the actual hair length is naturally longer in the shoulder areas of each bison hide, while other areas of the hide present a much shorter hair length.

With a standard American bison hide, our craftsmen are typically able to get two "long hair stools" and the remainder will be "shorter hair stools". So a standard set of 4 Montana Buffalo Western Bar Stools will consist of two "long hair stools" and two "shorter hair stools"....so that the entire bison hide is utilized.
